Our client, a leader in their industry is currently looking to add a Key Account Manager to manage the SW Ontario territory. This is a newly created role with the intent to grow established business and create business relationships to grow overall revenue. This unique opportunity will be focused on managing established accounts vs. prospecting/cold calling for new business. In this role you will be the primary representative for your book of business to assure post sales satisfaction and prospecting potential new avenues to further develop accounts. You will manage a SW ON territory which will include multisite facilities
Responsibilities:
Reaching out to establish customers within your book of business to secure onsite meetings to review the clients business needs
Manage client relationships, ideally building growth within each account
Ability to identify sales opportunity, potential new leads and growth opportunity
Ability to build relationships with the customer to assure satisfaction
Assure KPIs are meet for onsite meetings, sales growth and revenue growth of your book of business
Reply in a timely matter to client requests
Assure Customer satisfaction by maintaining relationships with your clients to assure customer loyalty
Interface with both customers and carriers to ensure compliance and performance within assigned territory
Driving sales initiatives in order to expand the revenue performance of your territory
Proven success building an established territories overall revenue
Spending 50-60% of your time visiting customer sites and further grow brand awareness
Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years Account Management experience within Manufacturing or CPG industry ideally
Bilingual French & English is an added bonus but not required
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or related course
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and resources
Decision Quality - Ability to think outside the box to provide first contact/call resolution
Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
Experience with SAP or JD Edwards software
Note this role is predominantly remote however, you will be expected to attend monthly & quarterly sales meetings in the Mississauga Head Office
